Aquatics - Adult Group Lessons

Our highly qualified and experienced instructors will ensure safe and effective swim classes for beginner swimmers through to squad level.

Beginners classes: for participants with little or no water experience. These classes focus on the basic skills of breathing, floating, kicking and importantly water safety, with the aim of developing competency in freestyle and backstroke.

Intermediate classes: are for swimmers capable of at least 25m of basic freestyle or backstroke. These classes will further develop the skills learnt in level 1 and introduce breastroke technique.

Advanced classes: are designed for competent swimmers.  These classes will increase stamina and endurance while working on stroke technique to increase swimming efficiency.

Assessments: Those who are unfamiliar with recognized strokes, or have had little or no previous lessons, should enroll in the beginner classes. If you wish to enroll in the intermediate or advanced classes you must attend a swimming assessment to show you are capable of skill requirements.
