Frequently Asked Questions
1. How to join the Strength & Fitness Gym
The Strength & Fitness Gym prides itself on upholding industry-leading safety standards. To maximise the safety of all clients, all users must complete an Authorisation Class before using any exercise equipment.
Authorisation involves signing up and paying for an individual or group orientation and/or instruction in the use of the facilities (Exercise Program or Familiarisation) depending on the individualís previous gym experience to ensure users meet set competency standards. 12-month Fitness Memberships include the cost of Authorisation. However, membership cards will only be issued after completion of the mandatory Authorisation. Those considering shorter term memberships must complete authorisation before purchasing a membership.
Bring your staff or student card to the Beaurepaire Centre Reception and sign yourself up for either an individual Exercise Program or a Familiarisation Class. We will then be more than happy to advise you on your optimal Membership Option.
