Melbourne University Football

As one of Melbourne University's oldest and most successful sporting clubs, Melbourne University Football caters for players of all standards with teams entered in the Victorian Amateur Football Association. The club consists of the University Blues & the University Blacks, both clubs entering senior, reserve and under 19 teams in the Victorian Amateur Football Association. The Blues compete in A Section and the Blacks in B Section. The Blues and Blacks also field Club 18 teams for those who cannot commit to regular training. The Blues are coached by former Caulfield and Blues long time player John Kanis and the Blacks by former Geelong AFL player Marc Woolnough.

Training Times
Pre-season training (until end March) is held Monday and Wednesday evenings and regular season training is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Players should meet at the Pavilion on the north side of the University oval.
Competition Details
Both Clubs play in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). Home ground for both teams is the stunning Melbourne University Oval, while opposition grounds are located through out the Melbourne Metropolitan area. For more information about the VAFA have a look at the VAFA webpage
