Melbourne University reaches the top

A Melbourne University team won the Eureka Climb on Sunday, 22nd November, with the four runners climbing 1958 steps each to reach the 89th floor of the Eureka tower in a combined time of 49:08. [more]

The Melbourne University Mountaineering Club recently celebrated it's 65th anniversary over much wine and storytelling. The night began with an 'open house' at the MUMC Clubrooms where current members showed past members our home at university before proceeding to a semi-formal dinner. [more]

Guehrer breaks World Record in Moscow

Arts student and sports scholarship holder Marieke Guehrer claimed her second World Record in the past 12 months with a blistering 26.17 seconds in the 50m Backstroke at the FINA World Cup in Moscow over the weekend. Guehrer also won the 50m Freestyle and was second in the 50m Butterfly (the event for which she broke the World Record in Berlin last year). [more from Swimming Australia]
